Basic Specification and Content

There are 2 main versions of the Innovator Series- Innovator MD530 and Innovator EXP. Both models have similar dimension and basic structure. Only few parts are different between the two. Innovator MD530 features with stability, smoothly, and graceful flying performance to make it is suitable for the scale lovers or beginner. Innovator EXP, utilizes a high performance power system to make it fully aerobatic. Both models are available in ARF (almost ready to fly) super combo form and with or without a 2.4 GHz transmitter.

MAIN ROTOR HEAD

The main rotor head is based on the proven Raptor design and it offers the same control feel that is loved by pilots around the world for years. It gives pilots the confidence to do more and push harder, and at the same time offers uncanny stability.

DRIVE SYSTEM

The motor drives the tail rotor tooth belt directly to offer high efficiency and space saving.It drives the main gear through a single bull gear.

COLLECTIVE PITCH CONTROL SYSTEM

Mechanical cyclic-collective pitch mixing system similar to that used on the proven Raptor series ensures precise swashplate control and eliminates the control cross coupling problem found on electronic CCPM type control systems. Smart design geometry prevent control bind at full cyclic and full collective extremes.

BATTERY TRAY

The battery tray design permits changing battery quickly without removing the fuselage. This clever devise makes it easy and gives you more fun.

3 IN 1 SERVO UNIT

Innovative 3 in 1 servo mechanism combines together with elevator, rudder and collective pitch servo. The servo amplifiers are all mounted on the main PCB (printed circuit board) that also houses the gyro and electronic speed controller (ESC) and receiver.The servos are of the digital type to give precise controls in a small package.

AILERON SERVO UNIT

Aileron servo mechanics is house together with the collective pitch control arm assembly. This increases the strength of the collective control arm and saves weight.

Spectrum Radio Control 2.4GHz iFHSS Control System

The innovator is available with an advanced 6Channel 2.4GHz spread spectrum radio control system. This system is special designed to match the requirement of R/C helicopters. Optional 2.4GHz transmitter modules will be developed to fit other brands of spread spectrum transmitters to permit using other brands of spread spectrum transmitters to fly the Innovator with the Innovator 2.4 GHz on board ICS control system.

• Security ID Binding Link
  A binding feature is included in the Innovator 2.4 GHz spread spectrum system to make sure the transmitter
  and receiver will only recognize each other to prevent interference from other controllers.
  
  
• Safety Power Cut-Off Protection Function
  To prevent accidentally shutting down the transmitter, a special feature that guarantees the transmitter can
  not be turned off when the heli power is not turned off. This unique feature enhances the safety.
  
  
• Auto Cut-Off
  In case forgetting to turn off the transmitter power after flying, the transmitter will automatically cut off the power after a certain period to save battery power.
  
  
• Range Checking Function
  A range checking button on the transmitter reduces transmitter radiation power for doing range check before flight. It is recommended to do this checking before flying.

• Motor Starting
  The motor starting system uses a buzzer and two-color LED display to notify the user of the motor controller condition. In addition to enhanced safety and operation effects, this prevent failure or human error that may result in an accident motor start. 4 types of buzzer beeps and LED lighting modes enable instant recognition of different detected fault conditions.
  
  
• Auto Cut--Off
  To prevent damaging the flight battery if the power system was not turned off after flight, the onboard smart controller will cut off the power automatically after a certain period without transmitter stick movement.
  
  
• Battery Pack
  A special 3S Li-Po battery is packaged inside a thin shell, light plastic hard case. Every battery pack has an exclusive ID corresponding to INNOVATOR helicopter. A valid ID is required to start the helicopter motor.
  A built-in temperature sensor in the battery pack measures feeds back battery condition to the smart monitor in each pack for recording and analysis. It can record voltage, current, temperature and usage time.

Exclusive PC Software and FMS Simulator

IA USB link permits setting the helicopter transmitter programs, such as throttle curve, pitch curve, servo travel, gyro gain, through a personal computer.The computer can also display alarm messages and detailed status of the onboard ICS system.When an alarm is displayed, it will also display the detailed contents of the alarm and countermeasures.

Easy Operation
After installing special software with the PC, the large PC screen will display more easily understandable and detailed setting functions, to execute simple and detailed settings.

Flight Simulator
An flight simulator is included in the PC software and it has the innovator helicopter model in the flight simulator..

Alarm Analysis
The PC will display alarm messages and detailed status of the unit.When an alarm is displayed, it will also display the detailed contents of the alarm and countermeasures.

Data Log Analysis
The PC software can also analyze the data recorded on the onboard control device during the flight.When analyzing the registered data, it will display the name of battery in use, confirm the output voltage of the battery for respective periods, monitor the battery voltage and main rotor rpm for respective batteries,
current, temperature, and change of recorded data.

Flight Set-Point Data Customization
It can freely customize all settings in detail for conventional transmitters, such as throttle curve, pitch curve, ATV or Gyro Gain, etc. It can also use a simulation device to confirm the customized settings.
